Hello,
the power room of my office has 4 UPS connected as follows
2 units of MGE Galaxy 5500 UPS 80kVA connected in parallel
and
2 units of MGE Galaxy 5500 UPS 40kVA connected in parallel,
strangely, i observed the following alerts in the last couple of days which appears to be in-consistent. All 4 ups are connected to the same Stabilizer and power source.
80kVA UPS#1: the latest event “A phase out of range condition exists on the bypass input” took place on the 14th of August
80kVA UPS #2: the latest event “A phase out of range condition exists on the bypass input” took place on the 2nd of August
40kVA UPS #1: the latest event “A phase out of range condition exists on the bypass input” took place on the 29th of August
40 kVA UPS #2: the latest event “A phase out of range condition exists on the bypass input” took place on the 25th of July
in the past, i usually received the alerts from all 4 ups at the same time.
please note that my installation is in Africa where power isn't so stable, hence we switch to a standby generator during power outages.
please what do you advise?

Hi
The UPS is indicating that your input supply is outside of tolerances. This means you would need to check your input supply for the correct rated voltage/frequency levels. You state yourself that the "power isn't so stable". Hence I would recommend you to get your local electrician to carry out a full power quality analysis/report on your input supply.
If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to ask me.
Kind Regards
Haseeb
