A discharged battery condition 3000XL

I have a 3000XLT with 3 external UXABP48 battery packs purchased in may 2011. I am getting 0 to 20 minute runtime with a 42% load. Any test I do it goes to battery discharge or low condition. What do I need to do?

Are you using any software or a network management card? I would first make sure either one is configured to show the number of external batteries so it will give you the proper runtime.
