Greetings folks.
I had been asked to "check out the ups" in one of our server rooms. After getting this heavy monstrosety back to my office, I plugged it in over night and see no indicator lights and I get no power from the outlets. I have also hit the reset buttons and I get nothing. The internal fan is working and after unplugging it, the fan still works so I know the batteries are still decent.
I think I gave myself a hernia getting this thing on my desk.
Anybody have any idea why this isn't working?
Thanks
B

I don't know what was going on with it. Now I can get everything to light up that's supposed too and the batteries show they are charging. Just won't hold a charge. New batteries on the way.
Thanks for the replies.

have you tried to hold down the test button ( | ) on the unit at all while its plugged in and the fan is going? what reset buttons are you referring to? the circuit breaker resets?
can you get us the exact model off the white sticker on the back of the UPS so i know specifically what we are dealing with and can help further too?

Hi there.
I have pushed the 4 white reset buttons on the back. The white tag shows the model numbers as SUA2200RMXL3U.
Thanks

ok, so those are for the breakers on the outlets. even if they tripped, the UPS should turn on. do we know the status of the battery? is it connected properly? if so, i would leave it unplugged from the wall and hold down the ( I ) test button on the front and see if you get any beeps. if you hear beeps, hold down this button and let go during the second beep and see if the UPS powers up.
