Hello,
I just bought a 1400 UPS (with no batterties). I also purchased the batteries, but not quite sure how to connect them together. Can someone help?

If yours is an North American (US/Can) model the battery pack voltage is 24 VDC. Two series strings of 12 Volt 9.0 Ah connected in parallel. You can get away with 7.2 Ah cells in a pinch...

This is not something that APC helps users with since we sell the Replacement Battery Cartridge (RBC) modules as pre-wired parts with all required connectors. If someone else here wants to help, then that is fine but you'll be doing it at your own risk.

Please clarify - did you buy the raw battery cells ? If so, you may not have the necessary fuse(s) and prewired spade terminal wiring and possibly Anderson connector to mate with the UPS's battery connections.

Batman - I have all the cables, just not sure if I should wire the batteries as 24V or 48V for the 1400 model.
