Unable to upgrade MTN6215-0310 Firmware

Hello,

I kindly ask help to upgrade the firmware of my MTN6213-030. In the application manual it's described I need to download and use a firmware upgrade tool, but the link in the document is not correct (it links to the home page) and I tried to search everywhere in the SE website but I did not find it. Can you post a link ?

I also desperatly tried to find the sofwtare on Merten website, and I found a "Multitouch Pro Updater" tool, which I installed. I tried to attach the device to the PC using micro USB , leaving KNX TP connected, and I started the tool. If the tool is supposed to detect the device it doesn't. I imagine I need to install usb drivers ? But how ?

And by the way .... the two tools are the same ?

Honestly .... it's quite a nightmare

Hello

Your assumption is correct: You need to install driver for the tool. After installation of the tool (what You already did) You will find the drivers in the following folder:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Schneider Electric\Multitouch Pro Update\MultitouchProDriver.zip

There are several versions depending on the WINDOWS version You are using. Select the right on for Your need.

The current version of MT Pro update tool is different from the old one as it also allows to update the file system.

You need to program first the multitouch with settings page where you can enable the FW Update
