Hello
I want to replace old broken device MTN6725-0001 fw1.3 (DALIControl IP 1 7307/1.0b) to new MTN6725-0001 fw3.1 DALIControl IP 1 (DCA7310/1.0)
I have found in document (KNX- DALI Gateway REG-K/1/16(64)/64/IP1-ETS Software Description (EN) (Version V7310/1.0) on page 30 that there is restore function. I see that i can't download ETS project into device.
How replacement should look like, do i need to start from zero?
Can i downgrade firmware in new gateway and download configuration form ETS?
When i try to program gateway from ets i get this:

Hello Piotr,
to "Can i downgrade firmware in new gateway and download configuration form ETS?"
YES, you can downgrade the device to FW-Version 1.3.9 (Link to FW). Then it is compatible with your current ETS/PlugIn Version.
Means after the downgrade you can reuse the KNX-Part.
Related to the DALI-Part. If you didnt saved the DALI-Information with the dedicated function in the PlugIn (handled with a file) before you need to do the DALI-Part again. So it is helpfull to make a backup of the DALI-Configuration when you use the FW-Versions with the PlugIn.
When you use the new FW in combination with the dedicated ETS-APP then the DALI-Information are directly stored within the ETS.

Gateway device must be online on DALI network to make this backup file, or it can be done offline?

Hello Piotr,
if you have the backup file I think you can do it offline.

Is it possible to switch a dali 0001 to dali pro secure device 0101 with the backup file of the old one.
Or do I need to reprogram all ?

Hello Domotiqa,
the database format of the MTN6725-0001 is totally different from the new model MTN6725-0101, therefore, unfortunately, you cannot use its backup file.
However, the new installation procedure now allows you to maintain the configuration created with an external tool, therefore, by selecting that option, you should be able to maintain the association of the ECGs in the DALI groups.
