JSON to Struxurware integration

I am wondering if anyone here has a solution to bring JSON data via a REST get (and send via Post) into struxureware.  What I need is very similar to the built in simple XML web service, but the response is in JSON format. See example of response below:

 You can do it using Script programs (I have done it recently) but you need to build your programs pretty complex if you're not familiar with it since before.

There is no easy way to extract/create data from JSON to EBO values like you can do with serialize/deserialize using Newtonsoft Json.NET.

If you want to post data, simply build your body message using unicode characters, ex. chr(34) for quotes, chr(9) for line breaks and chr(10) for line feeds.

If you want to extract data, build functions that search for a key, then create a loop that starts in its value pair and extracts all chars until a quote appears.

It is easy if you know how to do it.

That solution contains a function that converts encoded responses to human readable (Hex to ASCII).

Alltough, if the response varies in key/value pairs or if the response could be very long I would suggest developing a SmartConnector Extension and utilize Newtonsoft Json.NET: https://community.se.com/docs/DOC-14474

Also, I saw that you are passing your access tokens in the URL. That is not a recommended way of doing it since you are exposing the access token to man-in-the-middle attacks.

Recommended is to pass it in the header or the body so make it safer.
