Hi Michael,
The Smart Connector processors, do not in general access a SOAP Endpoint, usually this is third party clients that want to consume data from EBO. But since the REST Endpoint are simply web services, in theory any amount of clients can consume data from them (including Smart COnnector processors if you wanted to).
