Error: The HTTP request is unauthorized with client authentication scheme 'Digest'

Hi,

We get the following error when  we start our SmartConnector extension:

2018-11-12 08:56:32.5444,Error,Processor,<no principal>,EBO Alarm Item Discovery Processor,System.ServiceModel.Security.MessageSecurityException: The HTTP request is unauthorized with client authentication scheme 'Digest'. The authentication header received from the server was 'Digest realm="ews@SxWBM",qop="auth",nonce="3D0FE37C53C78542AE0AE8F508B8682B",opaque="811407"'. ---> System.Net.WebException: The remote server returned an error: (401) Unauthorized.

Any idea what may be the problem?

Hi Michael,

This error most likely points to that invalid user credentials are being used when trying to communicate with EBO. Can you verify that the Smart Connector extension is using the correct credentials (try and log into EBO with them).
