Launching the Android Wiser App on Windows 11
Employing something called Windows Subsystem for Android(packaged with Win11) you can fire up a virtual Android environment and access Google Play Store to download anything you may want to duplicate that's already on your smartphone.
I have studied a few Youtube vids on the subject but this one served me best
It is a bit of a faff, but follow it closely. I'd just like to point out a few oddities about the installation.
Windows Features
Other vids instruct the ticking of Hypervisor and subsystem for Linux
Powershell command line
The process shown above didn't work for me. However I found the following worked
NOTE. Enter the full string at the C:\wsa> prompt exactly as shown below in bold.
Add AppxPackage -Register Appxmanifest.xml
At this point nothing seemed to have populated my machine with Google Play Store but a couple of reboots seemed to push the icon into the Win 11 Start menu.
I'll leave it to others to judge just how useful this is.
Can anyone advise if it is possible to fire up multiple instances as I have two hub systems controlling separate properties?
