Different iOS Wiser Apps

I'm based in New Zealand, and have two different Wiser iOS apps that I need to to control my devices.  I have one called "Wiser by SE" (green text on white icon), which is currently at version 9.130.1 (updated 1 month ago) which controls my Wiser 2nd Gen hub (the one that operates my Zigbee lightning), and I have the "Wiser Home" (white text on green icon), which is currently at version 7.0.1 (updated 1 month ago) which controls my EV charger.

I can't seem to add the EV charger to the Wiser SE app, and I can't seem to add the 2nd Gen Zigbee hub to the Wiser Home app.  And from what I read in the forums here, it looks like the Wiser Home app is the one everyone seems to be controlling their 2nd Gen Zigbee hubs with (and are able to update it to have Matter support).

What's happening here?   Is this a regional thing with New Zealand?

Thanks for your post. You are right we have 2 solutions Wiser by SE and Wiser Home but depending on your "hardware", only one solution can be implemented & used. Please contact our local customer support to obtain the right one according to your products & needs.

I'm unable to find any documentation that talks to bringing Matter support to my Wiser 2 gateway with the Wiser by SE application.  Does not seem to have that same firmware update ability for the gateway that is available with Wiser Home.  😞

Hi @tallackn,

You should use Wiser Hub 2^nd Generation (CLP502WH) with Wiser Home app. In this case, Wiser Hub 2^nd Generation acts as the Matter Bridge. You can enable the Matter connection in the app. By adding the hub to a third-party Matter app (Google/Amazon/Apple etc.), you can integrate your Wiser Zigbee devices into the Matter Fabric (network) and control them from the third-party app.

I have this system.  It uses the Wiser Smart Home Hub Zigbee to IP Network gateway.  So that's the wrong one?

Yes, Matter is only supported on Wiser Hub 2^nd Generation (CLP502WH) with Wiser Home app.

Ah, that does not appear to be available here in NZ.  Ideal Electrical is just selling the other version of the gateway that I bought.  What a shame.  😞
