I would like to kindly inquire whether any parties have already deployed a solution that utilizes a RTU ScadaPack to transmit data (up to 100 tags) to an AVEVA InSight cloud historian for the purpose of supervising multiple processes distributed over a large area, such as several WWTPs in my case.
I believe that the best approach would be to use the Node-RED, but I would like to know if anyone has experience with this.

It looks like AVEVA InSight Historian has a REST API for this
https://docs.aveva.com/bundle/insight/page/273809.html
So anything that would support this could be used. Node-RED is probably a straight forward method, but you could also write your own system in .NET Core (or another framework you prefer) and host it in a docker container on the 47Xi.
My environments almost always have the RTU interfacing to a SCADA platform, like GeoSCADA Expert, or AVEVA System Platform. So they provide connectors into higher platforms like AVEVA InSight Historian (so haven't needed to play with the REST API directly).
