Hi,
using a SCADAPack 574, how do I configure Binary output on the RTU to accept a Trip/Close CROB command from a SCADA DNP3 master? Further to that, I need to use these commands in the logic to drive some statuses and perform some other actions...
According to the manual, I've tried configuring a pair of objects that point to the same DNP3 address, one as the "g12v1 g10v2 Binary Output Trip" and the partner as "g12v1 g10v2 Binary Output Close". From the GeoSCADA end, I've established comms to the RTU and have configured a "Pulse (Trip-Close)" point connected to the BO on the SCADAPack. When I issue either Trip or Close commands, the action is rejected and the Wireshark network capture identifies the issue as "Ctl Oper. Not Supported For This Point (4)".
(I've tried numerous combinations of pulse counts, pulse length, direct operate with and without ACK, select before operate, etc, etc)
Has anyone accomplished this? any hints or advise is greatly appreciated!
(I have attached the network SCADA request and RTU response logs below)
Thanks in advance,
vds
