SCADA Pack RTU 474, IO card (5606) Not responding in Remote Connect

Hi,

We have been facing a issue with SCADA Pack 474. Configuration is like below.

RTU 474 + 6103 PS + 5606 IO Mix Module + 5414 DI Module

Only 5606 IO Mix module not responding in the remote connect while rest are working fine and showing online. We have tried the address setting, replace the new IO card with previous one but still IO's are not responding.

Thanks Joel.

1. 5606 module is between Power supply and DI module.

2. We have configured the address in the program and dip switch accordingly.

3. In remote connect we have entered *5606 composite IO*. I think that is fine.

I've raised the ticket with SE team.

I have a few thoughts, but if those don't help I suggest you reach out to our global Support team.

1) If the 5606 module were at the end of the string of modules I might suspect the intermodule cable of being damaged or not properly seated in its connector. If it has been installed between the power supply and the 5414 however, then most likely the cable is fine.

2) The next most likely issue is the module's address. Shipped from the factory the module is set to an address of 0. Check the actual switch setting, and ensure that the same value is entered in RemoteConnect.

3) Ensure that the module type entered in the RemoteConnect Local I/O dialog is actually a 5606, and not some other module with a similar name.

To contact our Support team:

- In a browser go to se.com

- In the top left area, select your region or country

- Select the Products menu, then Industrial Automation & Control

- Select the Telemetry & Remote SCADA option

- Select the SCADAPacks option

- Click the Contact Support or Assistance button

I noticed on my 5414 modules that the address switches have numbers opposite to the numbers on the PCB. When addressing use the numbers on the PCB not the switch.
