Elementary Function Not Available Remote Connect

Hi,

I am using Schneider Electric's General Purpose Libraries for an M580 application. I know need to implement SCADAPack 474's onsite for remote monitoring. Part of the libraries requires the use of the Elementary Function GET_BIT, however I see it is not available in the Control Expert version of the SCADAPack. Is there a way to make this available or import it?

Hello Teaan,

The version of Ecostruxure Control Expert installed along with RemoteConnect (which we call Logic Editor) has numerous slight changes from the Control Expert version that's intended for use with Modicon PLCs. If any function has not been included there's likely a good reason for it. 

Perhaps one of the existing Type to Type functions in Logic Editor will do the job for you? Otherwise you'll most likely need to write a DFB to re-create the GET_BIT functionality.
