Hello Remote Operations Community,
Remote Operations is pleased to announce the launch of the 'SCADAPack Workbench-to-RemoteConnect Conversion Service'. This service adds the ability to easily convert legacy SCADAPack Workbench and SCADAPack E Workbench IEC 61131-1 logic to RemoteConnect, for use in the latest SCADAPack x70 Smart RTUs. This service shares the EcoStruxure Control Engineering (ECE) portal with the existing 'Telepace-to-RemoteConnect Conversion Service'.
Legacy control logic is uploaded by a registered user to the ECE portal, with each unique logic conversion requiring the purchase of one software key license, part number TBUM297154, which is then used to activate the final conversion in the portal. After the conversion to RemoteConnect is completed by the service, and the converted code downloaded locally, the user will need to review the converted logic in RemoteConnect and edit/amend/modify as required, to obtain the desired operation in the RemoteConnect language of choice, for the SCADAPack x70 Smart RTU of choice.
Please review the attached datasheet (in Letter and A4 formats) for detailed information on this conversion service, and the 'ISaGRAF 3.55 to RemoteConnect Migration Guide-v4.1.1.pdf' document for accessing and using the ECE portal.
Note: For ISaGRAF 3.55 RTU logic running in much older SCADAPack RTUs, a manual migration process from ISaGRAF 3.55 to SCADAPack Workbench is required to be done by the user prior to conversion to RemoteConnect. This process is outlined in the aforementioned Migration Guide.
If you have any questions about the use of this service please contact: RemoteOperations@se.com
Thank you
Martin Chartrand
