Hi Everyone.
Our development team are working hard to bring you Geo SCADA Expert 2025. This new version adds powerful features like Python programming and a Sparkplug data publisher. It will also add a major new feature to Geo SCADA Mobile - interactive Mimics and Trend displays. To support this, the Android and iOS (Apple) versions of our app will soon be updated.
Of course, you'll need Geo SCADA Expert 2025 to take advantage of these new features, and you'll need to contact the licensing team to get revised licenses.
The apps for Geo SCADA Mobile will, however, be updated on Google Play and the Apple App Store before the Geo SCADA Expert 2025 release, at which stage they will be updated automatically by your mobile device (depending on your update settings).
We'll update the Android app first, followed by the iOS app.
We have had to redevelop the apps to take advantage of advancements in technology and improve the user experience and reliability. Once the updated apps are released, current users will need to re-register their mobile devices, connecting them again to their Geo SCADA Mobile server.
After updating, you'll need to re-enter your server details and request device re-authorization from your Geo SCADA Mobile system administrator. You'll need to do this even if you are not upgrading yet to Geo SCADA Expert 2025. In preparation for this event, please record your server connection address details and ensure that your Geo SCADA Mobile system administrator is aware.
Other changes to Geo SCADA Mobile mean that you will need to recreate any Favorites that you have previously stored on the app. Also, the automatic alarm update polling feature supported by the Android version will not be available.
