The Schneider Electric Remote Operations team is pleased to announce the release of EcoStruxure RTU Operations Expert (EROE) for the SCADAPack 470i and 474i RTUs.

EROE is a complete edge solution for operational technology visualization and communication in remote locations and harsh environments. With EROE, you can:

Manage the SCADAPack from connected devices via web browser, using a soft HMI hosted by the RTU.
Develop visualization of on-site processes, turning data into actionable information using Python, for edge analytics.
Configure the RTU to automatically send and receive emails and/or text messages.
Communicate using protocol drivers such as MQTT, Sparkplug, and OPC UA, for connecting to a wide range of OT devices and tools.
And create Python applications.

EROE consists of two components. EROE Studio is an easy-to-use PC application for developing soft HMIs and other applications. And EROE IoT View is the runtime engine for EROE projects, which runs on the SCADAPack's Edge processor.
