PowerLogic T300 - IEC 61850 connection error to P3?

T300 connected to P3 via 61850

Dear colleagues.

I receive conf error message when try to connect P3U to T300 via 61850. I configure 61850 server using Build SCD option in Easergy Builder and download created conf file into T300 . The question is why I receive error message from T300 if all the configuration done by Easergy Builder? I did not touch anything after creating the file. On this stage there is no any points or client connection defined. Please see below pic.

Can you share step by step instruction how to configure  P3-> T300 connection via 61850?

Thanks in advance,

Hello Elnur.

The firmware version you got v1.2.2 is very old. Take into account that 61850 controller is active in T300 since release 1.3.1 so you need to upgrade it.

Please contact your Front office or my colleague Mathieu Lansoy for this.

Just for better understanding, I have just added IEC61850 server in Easergy Builder choosing Build SCD option. Then not touching anything downloaded the configuration into T300 and receive error in the picture, Why there is error message if all configurations done by Easergy Builder? I mean on this stage there is no any points  or client connection defined but T300 warm about configuration error.

Hello Elnur. Just to my have a clear picture in mind, if you want to integrate P3U in T300 you must have P3U´s cid file to configure T300 as a client, Is that correct?... if so the option "Build SCD" is correct as a first step but then you must import the cid file and start the process to integrate the device itself within T300 configuration. I have prepared a brief summary with the steps to be taken for this. I wish it helps you

To see the reason why the T300 rejected the configuration, look at the T300 (HU250) system log.

Hello Elnur, as you can see from this old post (https://community.se.com/t5/PAE-Protection-Relays-Controllers/Easergy-T300-Easergy-P3-and-IEC-61850-...), the IEC 61850 connection of PowerLogic T300 to multiple PowerLogic P3 has already been successfully performed quite some time ago.
