PowerLogic T300 - How to replace an old Easergy T200 controlling an RM6 RMU?

Hi,

We are facing a typical challenge when trying to retrofit T300 in place of T200 which is integrated with RM6.

Pin No. 1 of Interface Card Channel and well as Pluggable connector servers as DI common and as well as continuous negative supply for Command(For Motor Supply) in case of T200. Please find attached diagram from T200 installation manual as well as RM6 manual.(Refer Figure 1A and 1B)

However in case of T300, DI Common reference has 0V which seems to be isolated from the external 24Vdc power supply. Hence, this DI Common (Pin No. 9 of DI slot) cannot server purpose of the extending Negative (-ve) voltage reference at Pin No. 1 of Pluggable Connector. (Refer RM6 side connection Figure 2)

Please confirm whether is there any way to complete the retrofitting without making any wiring termination changes at RM6 TB side as shown in Figure 3.

Thanks & Regards,

Ruchir Somani

Hello,

As explained in this document, the "DI common" and the "0V" can be separated, or can be mutualized (which is the case in the context of T200 retrofitting).

Regards,

  Mathieu.
