I'm accessing an ION 8600 through the ION Setup, in the Event Log there are some consecutive events of turning the device off and on. Among them, there is a recovered error, with the value 452.
How can I identify the meaning of this error from the event log? Is there some document about event logs specifications? About the diagnostics, is it possible to get more details about this?

Hello @Mariana17 ,
There is not a lot of information you can get from the event log alone. To get more diagnostics you would need to contact your local technical support. Then, with their help, you would connect to the meter with either telnet/SSH. Terminal programs such as Tera Term or PUTTY would be suggested.
The first question I would ask is what version of firmware is on the meter. If less than V4.21.0, strongly recommend upgrading the meter's firmware.
Regards,
Charles

Is there a guide on using PUTTY to telnet into the meter and view the log files?

Hello @MeterTech ,
There is no official guide to connecting to the meters with PUTTY.
I tend to not use the tool much so I cannot give many pointers. I tend to prefer Tera Term as this is easier for setting up logging.
Please note that to get all the diagnostics, you will need to work with technical support.

Charles
