what is disadvantage if an AC-DC inverter misconfigures from Delta to Wye?

If I hook up my AC-DC inverter to Delta grid but mistakenly misconfigure it to Wye, what harms in short-term, long-term to the AC-DC inverter? Apparently the inverter still functions in the beginning of the misconfiguration... Thanks
