Technical Problem Occurred in PM8240 when an Automation Server
Dear Sirs
We found a technical problem in PM8240 when using an Automation Server (product of Struxureware Building Operation) to poll PM8240 meter. The PM8240 meter went power down and then power up (like a power reset) every time when changing the communication setting such as polling rate or AS's device ID in Automation Server. However, the ION7650 meter had no such problem when changing the same in Automation Server. There was no error event (prority 255) be recorded in PME7.2.
Please advise how to solve the problem occurred in PM8240.
Software: SBO1.6 for BMS, PME7.2 for PMS
Hardware: Automation Server x 1, ION7650 x 1, PM8240 x1 (connected to one hub switch)
