Split Core Current Transformer

Hello, 

I got an enquiry from a client to provide a retrofit solution on existing panels which have no existing power meters. My client wants a solution with split core CT to minimize the downtime. 

I had a look at some split core CT such as PowerLogic Split Core Current Transformers. 

There are 3 x 4 pole ACBs at site and each phase has from 2 to 4 power cables. As these CTs are described to be used for busbars, can they also be used for power cables as shown in the attached picture ?

Yes, you can.

You also could use rogowski with a transducer. Realy easy!
