POWERLOGIC PM5110 POWER METER

Hi Everyone,

I have decided to write here as I am looking for answers regarding the PM5110 meters.

So we have a project where Schneider LV Switchboard has been installed with the x numbers of outgoing ways. All of the outgoing ways Distribution boards and sub-panel boards are metered by PM5110.

Our Client came back with an issue regarding 2No electric meters installed within Main LV Switchboard. Basically, the readings are recorded for a few months but the power consumption for monthly power usage is incorrect as it shows the same values as for annual usage. This situation is for both meters for different outgoing LV distribution board circuits. All metering system is connected and monitoring by BMS. I am wondering what causes this issue? Is it incorrect wiring termination to electric meters or wrong values entered to power meter setup? or maybe it is problem with BMS software /interfacing(connection) to the power meter? Please find the attached pic with a screenshot from the BMS display.

Has anyone met with a similar situation yet?

Could you please assist?

Many thanks

Regards

JM

Hello,

My understanding of the PM5110 meter is that there is not separate energy accumulation for monthly resets and annual resets. Likely there is a calculation in the BMS system for monthly and annual consumption. If the meter started in the system in the current month, would make sense for the monthly and annual calculation to be the same.

Regards,

Charles
