Hi,
I have 6x PM8240s with digital input modules on site and 3 of them have a config error on the Setup ION and the power light is flashing red. They were working fine but now have stopped working.

Hello @BrandonReed ,
Recommend reaching out to your local technical support. If the module needs to be returned it helps having a case number already.

Hello @zmortimer ,
How many IO modules connected? Do you have other modules like 4wire comm module or Fiber to Ethernet module? If just a single module, have you tried disconnecting the module, waiting 10 seconds and connecting again (all with meter powered off). If mutliple IO modules does disconnecting the IO module that is blinking recover the other IO modules?
Possible to get video of the red LED blinking pattern?
Regards,
Charles

I have this same issue. Mine was flashing the red LED approximately once per second. Then for a while, the LED was completely off and ION Setup did not recognize the module at all. Now the LED is still off, but ION Setup is back to giving the same "config error." I have tried the "reset bus" button, power cycling the meter multiple times, and removing/reinstalling the option module onto the meter.
