Good morning
We just received a PM8000 meter from customer here in Mexico, they lost the password. I've tried some things here but they didn't work. I've been calling to Tech Support in Keating Cross (Victoria, Canada) but no one had took the call. By chance, do you know someone who may be able to help? We want to send the PM8000 to reset to factory password.

The old Technical support number for Victoria, used by Power Measurement is decommissioned for some time now.
To reach out to technical support please contact the CCC center in your country and they will escalate to the expert support center as needed.
For the PM8000 meters there is NO password reset procedures, the security implementation on the ION meters does not allow access through backdoor password.
If the customer still have the password file generated using ION Setup (ION Setup gives you the option to save the password configuration to a file), the technical support team will be able to assist you recovering the password.

Thank you very much for your kind reply. We already established contact here with our local CCC and now they are taking care of the issue (the meter is in transition to be sent to Canada).
Unfortunately we already tried the SCF with another meter but the one which has no password, did not accept the SFC (it's the one we generate) becaues the customer has no SCF.
