PM5563 can't login into webpage after firmware upgrade

Hello,

I upgraded the firmware on a PM5563 meter (via the webpage) going from 4.1.8 to 4.2.1 and now it won't accept the Administrator password.  Any thoughts?

I went out to the meter and performed a user account reset and I also cycled the power.   I was then able to login with the default password (MAC address).

Hello @Ramasamy_N ,
Any thoughts about  PM5563 meter upgraded from webpage  going from 4.1.8 to 4.2.1 no longer accepting the Administrator password?

Regards,

Charles

Hello @BlueHen @Charles_Murison

The administrator password will not get reset during the firmware upgrade. This seems to be strange behavior, Can you confirm, was there any other user account configured except Administrator?.

I will check with firmware team.

However we can reset the user accounts in meter front display and login to the meter to set new administrator password.

Regards,

Ramasamy N

Hi all,

I have just conducted this fw update for PM5500/5560 with the latest version available online:

Firmware Version:
OS: 4.2.1 | RS: 4.2.1 | Lang: 3.0.1 | Comms: 4.2.1

PM5560_PM5563_PM5580_V4.2.1_UTv3.10_Release.zip

After successfully updated, it defaults login as Administrator and password is the MAC ID

No other users are created, can not login using user1, user2 etc
