New Firmware v3.0.0 for ION9000, ION7400 and PM8000

Hi,

We have received a PM8000 recently meter having this new firmware version 3.0.0.0. We have found the documentation about this new firmware online which states a great improvement on security and Modbus communications.

Great Job team!

However, we would appreciate if we can be notified in advance about new firmware releases in the future and we can find this in our SE Exchange community as an announcement.

This way we won't be caught in surprise and advise our customers earlier on the improvements.

Hi Arneil,

My apologies. We planned to communicate both the new firmware release and the new hardware release at the same time in September. Reason being the number of people on vacation in July / August. That was clearly not the right decision, as we have customers and partners receiving the product with new firmware before the communication.

We will pay more attention and communicate it better next time.
