Modbus Map ION 7400

Hello!

What is the difference of the records of these variables in different parts of the Modbus list of the ION 7400 meter, for example the Active and Reactive Energy, delivered and received in the image below:image.pngI noticed that the data type differs, in the first two blocks is integer while in the second two blocks is floating point. But I noticed that the only divergence would be the item Web Page Tag, what would be PB and PS?

Is there only difference between these points, in what else they differ?

Thank you in advance.

Hi @Mariana17

PB(Previous Billing Period) and PS(Previous Season) are two definitions are used in Time of Use Module( which is used to store and monitor up to 20 years of seasonal rate schedules) where their Modbus registers are defined by Data Mapping Module -> Data Mapping TOU Module which also defines the values shown on the Display and Webpages.

Thank you very much for your answer, @Mehran_Mehrnia.
Then are not these standard active energy measurements? But it is that they are specifically related to Time of Use (TOU) data.
Unlike standard active energy, which is configured by default, these measurements need to be explicitly defined and configured within the TOU module. Is that correct?

Hi @Mariana17

You're welcome.

Standard Energy registers are accumulating until they reach the rollover limit, but PB(Previous Billing Period) and PS(Previous Season)energy registers are different as they are stored and then reset by end of the period defined by TOU module such as as Season Change(end of each season) or Self Read(can be defined as first date of each month, etc,...).

Best Regards,

-Mehran
