Meter Bios

A customer is asking to provide information on the BIOS for meters - just a description of what BIOS is used. Specifically, he is using ION 7650, 7330, 7350s...  We've been asked a similar question by another customer and it seems to be related to new network security concerns...

Thanks, Rich

Re: Meter Bios

Hi Rich,

This should probably be post over in the Hardware section.

Technically the meters use a third party RTOS (Real Time Operating System) and the Ethernet cards use a third party TCP/IP stack.

These have changed over the years so I don't know the current versions.
