My client has 3 meters per site, 1xPM500 1xPM850 1xPM5100 and he wants to change the PM500 and use a PM8000, but he want to go to SNMP.
So the question is, it is possible to use the PM8000 as a gateway, to go from Modbus-rtu/SNMP ?
best regards

Hi Jorge,
PM8000 can function as a Modbus Gateway to convert the Modbus RS-485 connections to Modbus TCP/IP for distribution and transmission on typical LAN networks. However, importing the reading from the Modbus RTU device connected to the PM8000 into SNMP traps is not available on the PM8000 device as far as I understand the device.
Having said the above, do note that if you want to access the PM8000 readings and alarms via SNMP, you can do so by simply downloading the MIB file and uploading the MIB file into your system which supports SNMP for it to translate the traps into readings on your system. You can following the link below for more instructions to the PM8000 MIB file and SNMP implementation,

Hi Jorge,
If you are unable to find a solution with Schneider Hardware, I have been successful implementing what you are trying to do with this device.
