Hello,
I am trying BACnet protocol on ION9000 and have some questions.
1) When I connected with Bacnet, 65 items such as current and power were displayed. Is it possible to change these measurement items?
I would like to know if it is possible to select flicker Pst, digital I/O, etc.
2) Is it possible to check alarm and event information?
I would like to know if it is possible to obtain information equivalent to that of the SNMP trap function.
I'm trying the BACnet protocol for the first time, so please let me know if I'm missing any information.
Regards,
Miyai

Hello @Miyai
1) No the BACnet items cannot be changed, there is no framework, there are no modules to relink. The BACnet is embedded inside the firmware.
2) What do you mean by check? The meter's event log could be read with software, The front panel has alarm log screen. The meter supports Syslog protocol. For the SNMP trapping, have you read the user guide https://product-help.schneider-electric.com/PowerLogic-PM8000/en-us/content/03-communications/snmp-t...

Hello, @Charles_Murison
Thanks for the advice. I understood.
For example, if an alarm is detected by the ION9000, I wanted to know if it is possible to check the contents of the alarm remotely using the BACnet protocol.
However, I found that I could not change the BACnet object, so I realized that it was impossible to check the alarm information using BACnet.

Hello @Miyai ,
Correct no alarm information via BACnet protocol.

Charles
