Hello,
A customer has requested an error code document for the ION7700 that provides definitions to make sense of some internal events on their meters.
They have 15+ ION7700s at a healthcare centre, and are seeing the below codes:
priority | cause_ion | cause_value | effect_ion | effect_value |
255 | Diagnostics 1 | 786432 | 7700 ION | Internal Event |
255 | Diagnostics 1 | 1275406514 | 7700 ION | Internal Event |
255 | Diagnostics 1 | 0 | 7700 ION | Internal Event |
255 | Diagnostics 1 | 621346822 | 7700 ION | Internal Event |
255 | Diagnostics 1 | 3718250498 | 7700 ION | Internal Event |
255 | Diagnostics 1 | 3221851276 | 7700 ION | Internal Event |
I've removed timestamp and node info for simplification. Events occur several days apart with no apparent correlation.
Thanks,

Hello Scott,
Sadly this information is not trivial to retrieve on a product that is old. I would say these meters may want to be the first meters replaced when possible.

Charles

Hello Scott,
The short answer is that there is no error document for these codes. One item to note is that the ION7700 meter is quite old and no longer able to be repaired since April 2012. Likely these devices will need to be replaced.

Charles

Thanks Charles,
Any idea what the error codes in the table mean?
They're ready for staged replacement, and are finding the low-hanging fruit.

Thanks Charles,
I'll let them know that these should be the first meters to replace.
