Hi Richard
Here is a link to the ION7650 framework downloads:
v360:
http://www.schneider-electric.com/en/download/document/ION7650_v360_Template/
and v370:
http://www.schneider-electric.com/en/download/document/ION7650_V370_Template/
they contain the different framework variations.
If you have an older 10MB logging memory ION7650 you may get a reduction in memory (down to 5MB) if you update to the fully loaded framework +PQ and + IEC 61850. Just updating to the +PQ should not impact logging memory.
cheers,
Alana

Yes, it should be available in the Name Plt (Name Plate Info) display screen.

I'm not in front of a device but based on the User Guide is says you should see firmeware version and template version. They are two different references.
For example, we have Firmware version 374e installed with template 7650_FAC-PQ-61850_V3.6.0.0.0.

You can view this information if you connect to your ION7650 using ION Setup. It is on the Template tab in the Setup Assistant, the firmware, serial number, current template and default (factory loaded) template.

Alana, hi
Thanks for the help on this one, the meter shows this version as being in it when the client browses to it:
The client is asking for the meter to be IEC61000-4-30 Class A capable, so are we OK or do we need to apply the PQ framework, if we do then which version will work with the meter firmware ?
Is there a document that exists anywhere that shows which frameworks can coexist with which firmware and what functions (in brief) each framework performs ?
Cheers

Hi Richard
Good news -- the fact you have fw vers 400 means you have the new internal hardware on your meter, so the logging memory won't be impacted if you wanted IEC 61850.
We don't have documentation as to which frameworks work on which firmware, but a rule of thumb is that earlier frameworks should work with later firmware. It is the firmware that defines which ION modules that are available for use in the framework.
We do, however, have a document that talks about 4-30 and supported firmware/frameworks. You can get it from the Schneider website here:
http://www.schneider-electric.com/en/download/document/70072-0185/
If you have v400 firmware and you upgrade to the v360 or v370 PQ framework, you are compliant to class A edition 2.
Hope this helps,
Alana
