ION7330 software upgrade

Hello team, 

Our Customer is requesting to upgrade the software version of the ION7330 . There are only 6 meters- ION 7330 connected.  ( refer to attached pics).

Can you please advise on How to do the upgrade ?

Hi @MabchourKenza 

Please note that both ION7300 series and ION Enterprise 7(PME 7) are obsolete and not supported.

For upgrading meters, ION Setup which is a configuration tool for setting up and upgrading meters, is recommended.

Hello @MabchourKenza ,

It looks like you are asking about upgrading the StruxureWare Power Monitoring Expert (SPM) 7.0.1. The latest version of this software is Power Monitoring Expert (PME) 2024.
Given how old your version is, there is no direct upgrade path. You will need to upgrade the software multiple times or do a fresh install then add the meters, then transfer old data. The transfer could be making an archive on the existing database then attaching the archive to the new PME, or you would likely use Extract transfer load (ETL) tool. 

I am glad to hear that the ION7330 meters are still running as those meters have not been sold in many years.
