A. There is a problem with Company G's installed PM8240 and ION9000.
1) 1) Alarm 9011 occurs on installed meters (300 units).
2) 2) After the alarm occurs, the product reboots.
B. Expected Cause
1) We changed the system from PME to PO 3 months ago. I added reset function through Modbus Writing in PO. (Modbus write: 0,1,0,1 alternately every 2 seconds)
2) The problem of phenomenon A is constantly occurring.
3) I removed the Modbus Writing function every 2 seconds 7 days ago.
4) No A phenomenon occurred on the meter installed for 7 days. Previously, four to five alerts were issued every day.
C.Identify the cause of the problem
1) Can the PQ meter be problematic if the Modbus Writing function is used every 2 seconds in the PO?
The problem has become serious, so the client company is considering not using the Schneider meter.

Hello @kunwoolee , strongly, strongly recommend contacting technical support to start a case to troubleshoot this. Would need to collect more information before we could say much of anything. Would need to know so many more details (include with case to tech support). What registers are you writing to, what value are you writing to the registers. How is the meter configured (template of meter and well as configuration report).
This is not a case I would suggest trying to troubleshoot more on the forums.
Regards,
Charles

Hello @sesa115918_brid , did you collect the diagnostic logs tech support is asking for? Event log is just 1 level, other levels will require the help of tech support to retrieve.

Charles

Hello @Mumon16 ,
Diagnostic error codes are almost always more complex than just reading a number and being able to tell what has happened or what needs to be done. 9011 indicates that something internal to he meter did not finish it's assigned task within the time given for the task.
The meter is then programmed to force a reset to hopefully clear whatever caused the task to not finish. A single 9011 does not say much, tech support could collect additional diagnostics to see if there may have been other factors. Sometimes these diagnostics only say what we already know, a task did not finish in time.
The meter's primary goal is to be a meter. Having the meter self restart is a way to unblock the meter working as a meter.
No further information on this topic will come from a forum discussion. If you want more information you will need to connect with tech support to collect additional diagnostics.
Regards,
Charles
