Hi,
Does anybody know what the minimum voltage that the 7550RTU can take on a digital input from a pulse meter ?
The manual states external supply of maximum 130VDC but what is the minimum for the input to operate correctly ?

The ION7550 digital inputs are internally excited to -30Vdc with a high-impedance source making them most suitable for simple closed-contact sensing (zero volts).
Any (low-impedance) voltage source connected between 0V and 130V will be recognized as closed.
Hope this helps
Dan

Hi Richard,
Dan Loewen has provided a good description which should answer your question.
Nonetheless, here is a picture in case it is still not clear:
Kind Regards,
