Hi all
Presently we are trying to measure 3-phase kW and kWh using the BCPM. From the SPM software, the readings from the BCPM are only in single phase. Can we simply add all the 3-phase readings together or we need to provide a multiplication of 1.73 to the formula?

Mmm. The debate will begin.
We say no, you need to choose the three phase measurement registers in the Modbus set for it to be a vector calculation, as opposed to a scalar sum you are suggesting which will be close but not right.
Early on we did find the 3 phase values to be scalar additions of the single phase measurements because PF was reading 2.75 (scalar addition of ~0.85 per phase) but I believe this was resolved to be true three phase power and power factor now.
