M580 PLC Unrecoverable Error and SEC LED Indication

Hello,

We are using HSBY Configuration and we are facing a error in standby CPU with below LED indication. Along with ETH MS and ETH NS steady red indication CPU shows SEC LED RED on. 

Could someone clarify what is that SEC LED indicates. Hardware manual for M580 PLC also not mentioned anything about this SEC LED. also, I would appreciate any guidance on how to resolve this.

I just had this same error. A power cycle of the PLC cleared the error, but I still haven't found the root cause of the issue. Did you end up finding out any further information in your situation?

In these cases, it's extremely important to contact technical support in your country. They'll request relevant information to diagnose the issue. Among other things, they'll request for the diagnostic file of CPU.

Also, I would recommend updating the PLC firmware to version 4.40, which includes significant improvements in CPU diagnostics. This helps us find the root cause of the problem.
