M172 Check status of BACnet communication
Hi All,
I have successfully implemented BACnet (MSTP/IP) on M172. I just need to stop my application whenever the communication fail or lost connection.
How could I check Acknowledge attribute?
I set already APDU_Timeout and the number of APDU admited.
Thanks in advance for your time!!!
Cheers

Hello,
at the moment it is not possible in a native way.
With the coming bios version you'll have a new target variable which counts the number of Poll for Master and Reply to Poll for Master received by M172 which could be used for this purpose.
M172 will have also a counter for messages received via BACnet/IP and the IP of the last received message.

Thanks for the update. When do you think the new Bios version will be released?

Hello,
I think it will be released in December, unfortunately we had a delay in the production of a new product linked to the release of ESME HVAC 1.5.0
