As part of our on-going product enhancement program, Schneider Electric Telemetry and Remote SCADA Solutions has announced the release of SCADA Expert ClearSCADA 2013 R2.1, a service pack for SCADA Expert ClearSCADA 2013 R2 providing feature enhancements and improvements to existing functionality. It is recommended that all users of SCADA Expert ClearSCADA 2013 R2 upgrade to this version.
This release of ClearSCADA contains a number of product enhancements, including:

Customers with licenses for SCADA Expert ClearSCADA 2013 R2 do not require an updated license file to run SCADA Expert ClearSCADA 2013 R2.1. Customers with licenses for ClearSCADA versions prior to 2013 R2 who wish to upgrade to SCADA Expert ClearSCADA 2013 R2.1 will need to update both their client and server license(s).

It is recommended that all users of SCADA Expert ClearSCADA 2013 R2 upgrade to this version.
Product Changes
This release of ClearSCADA contains a number of product enhancements, including:
- Faster mimic load times because of batched loading of embedded mimics from the server
- Alarm bell can now be sounded by embedded alarm lists
- Improvements to the request timeout settings on OPC driver
- Support for parameter trip sequences in Crystal Reports
- Support for SQL Server 2008 in the OLE DB driver

Licenses
Customers with licenses for SCADA Expert ClearSCADA 2013 R2 do not require an updated license file to run SCADA Expert ClearSCADA 2013 R2.1. Customers with licenses for ClearSCADA versions prior to 2013 R2 who wish to upgrade to SCADA Expert ClearSCADA 2013 R2.1 will need to update both their client and server license(s).
