The ClearSCADA server allows WebX users to login using an unsecured port. It is strongly recommended that users do not use the unsecured port to log on due to the inherent risks associated with unsecured communications. All logon requests to the ClearSCADA server should utilize the secure port, enabling all data transfer via SSL connections to the server.
It is advised that customer disable the unsecured WebX port using the ClearSCADA server configuration tool.
Launch the Server Configuration Tool

Right Click on the ClearSCADA Server icon and Select Configuration... from the menu
Disable the Unsecured WebX Port

In the System Configuration Folder find the Properties Page WebX
Uncheck the Non-Secure Enabled checkbox.
Under the File menu, select Apply Changes
* Note:*
Once you disable the non-secure WebX port, users who had been accessing WebX through the non-secure port will need to update thier bookmarks.
The URL will change from:
http: 10.10.10.10\
to:
http* S*: 10.10.10.10\
The s indicates that the secure port is being used.
