Schneider Electric, Telemetry and Remote SCADA Solutions Activity, has announced the release of ClearSCADA 2010 R3, the newest version of our successful SCADA Host software.

ClearSCADA 2010 R3 is a Minor version release, containing new features and product enhancements.

All users upgrading to this release will require a new license file available from customer support. This is required for both server and client upgrades. See the notes available here for further information.

New Product Features

Product Enhancements -- limit on User Groups and Areas of Interest removed, use of special characters, case sensitive User Names optional

Maintenance Themes -- use of intermediate web certificates now possible, support for Crystal Reports 2011, new methods for client-side scripting

Data Access Improvements -- support for new SQL 2008 expression and numeric functions, new EcoStruxure Web Services interface, query processor enhancements

Driver Developments -- new Advanced Modbus driver, Lufkin SAMS Pump off Controller added, greater flexibility with On-Demand Support in Advanced Modbus, improvements in the IEC 60870 driver

User Interface -- Embedded Web Pages, Chinese added as a supported language, French translation professionally upgraded
