Hi Xperts,
Just want to ask your expert opinion. Where to install TRV00880 if you have IFE stacked with multiple IFMs.
Is it in the unused port of the last IFM on the chain only.
or
Is it on every unused port of every IFMs and the chain and IFE server.
Thanks in advance

Hello @jedzruiz1985 ,
Please have a look on the ULP System Guide dedicated page:
For future reference, keep in mind there is a new ref of BSCM (S434220) that can communicate directly through Modbus.
ULP is a serial protocol and you need a termination at each end of the bus. It means you need an ULP termination on the 2nd ULP port of each IFM. ULP protocol is not chained through stacked IFM (only 24DC and Modbus RS485).
Regards,

Hi Romain,
Thanks for making it clear because publication is saying 1 at the last IFM and I saw aswell a diagram showing at each IFM and IFE.
So, it is 1 per unused port of the IFM and IFE then.
Thanks a lot.
Regards,
Jiedan

hello @jedzruiz1985 ,
Might be a confusion between modbus RJ45 line termination and ULP RJ45 termination. As explained one ULP termination at each unused ULP port except on eIFE for MTZ where the termination is integrated.
Kind Regards
