The Com X 510 as a GATEWAY drug

Having more drivers will help with MARKETING the Com X 510.  This is the GATEWAY drug for power monitoring pushers.  More drivers will open the market for more customers.

Powers-That-Be at Schneider need to realize what an untapped established base of legacy devices at customers sites that are WAITING for a simple monitoring and reporting appliance at a reasonable cost.

The ComX510 is this device.  I can't believe that it would take so long or cost so much to add drivers.  Take existing drives and change the registers and device type names.  You would think it would be this easy.

Send me the tools to make these and I will do them at home on my own time.

Just can't be that difficult...
