A PAS800 device was installed and commissioned, this device had multiple PowerTags and at least one PowerTag Rope (A9MEM1593) configured and being monitored.
This PAS800 Power Monitoring device failed and was replaced with a new PAS800 Power Monitoring device.
The broken PAS800 Power Monitoring device has the configuration and connections to the PowerTags.
The broken PAS800 is uncommunicable via network or direct ethernet connection. We are unable to access the device to remove the existing PowerTags or export the backup file.
The PowerTag Rope is currently installed around our mains incoming buzzbars across the 3-phases. We can disconnect the “Withdrawable connector for voltage take-offs connection” to remove the voltage, but we cannot disconnect the sensors from the buzzbars without major planning and shutdowns.
The Status LED on the PowerTag Rope flashes once every 15 seconds. This sequence does not align with any found in the instruction sheet.
To connect the PowerTag rope to the PAS servers, we have tried the following:
Questions:
Is it possible to unpair a PowerTag rope from a broken PAS800 device?
If it is possible, how can this be achieved?
If this is achieved by holding the unpair button, what reasons might there be for this not working as expected?
For PowerTag A9MEM1520 coils, do the PowerTags need to be completely removed from the distribution board to reset them? Or should turning off-and-on the breaker be enough to trigger the reset procedure?
Are there any written procedures for what to do in the event of a PAS800 unit failure?
Is there anything we could be missing?
Prior to failure, would taking a backup of the unit and restoring from that have mitigated this? As in, do PAS server backups contain the wireless device configuration?

Hello @JTAL,
You need to reset the powertag Rope, I saw that Romain has provided the procedure to do it.
For your question you have to perform a back-up of your PAS in order to be able to restore the back-up on a brand new replacement PAS. When restoring a back-up with Zigbee devices on another PAS you will get a warning that the config is coming from another PAS. Some limitations exist when restoring a back-up with Zigbee devices that's why it is recommended to use a brand new PAS.
Kind Regards

Hi @Guillaume_Evrard ,
I had seen that post, however did not get very far from it.
The Panel Server that the PowerTag Ropes were paired to had a complete failure many weeks ago. The only status the LED has provided us with is the blinking red every 15 seconds - the "gateway down" status. We have not seen the PowerTag blink fast red, nor blinking green, nor blinking fast orange.
We did not experience any difference in LED status after disconnecting the "Withdrawable connector for voltage take-offs connection" if that's what it means for the PowerTag to be turned off -> on?
We would expect something to happen after pressing/holding the unpair button on the front of the PowerTag Rope, but nothing does. Is this expected behaviour? What should happen?
We do not have any backups of the PAS unit - it had a complete failure. Is there any way to unpair PowerTags from that unit and reconnect to a new unit?
At the end of the day, all we need to know is: Can we force the PowerTags listed below into pairing mode without the broken unit?
A9MEM1593, A9MEM1520, A9MEM1580
We have a lot of PAS units and PowerTags spread across many sites - it will be a considerable issue if it is not possible to rectify this. Some of these PowerTags have been monitoring equipment that cannot be accessed easily, and cannot be replaced without months of planning.
