Hello, I've replaced a few failed CM2250 meters connected on a serial chain to an EGX100 with no issues. For the last one, when the CM2250 was replaced, the replacement causes other meters on the serial chain to drop in/out. It appears to move around to different devices. I've verified that all the meter settings are correct- device number/baud rate/etc. I've also tried adjusting settings on the EGX100, no luck with anything
I see a few options
1) Replace the meter again with NOS (new old stock) and see if that works
2) Replace the EGX100 with a MOXA gateway that has settings which might resolve it (worked twice elsewhere in different areas)
3) Replace the CM2250 with a new PM5500, remove it from the serial chain and connect the new meter via ethernet
Any thoughts, input from anyone?

Hi John,
Please try the following step (If you have the problem specifically when the last device is connected)
- Check comm cable between the last device and the previous one. Cross connect the cable and try like that.
- Try your first option.
- Replace EGX100. Because EGX100 is an obsolute product and out of date. Sometimes when you connect a new device even if it is the same CM2250 but with a new software version embedded, you might have this kind of issues.
