I have a COM'X200 with the latest firmware on it. I am using it as a gateway to gather information from eight EM4300 Zigbee meters into PME 8.1. I have installed the EM4300 driver in PME
However when I try to install the any of the EM4300 meters into the PME 8.1 Management console, I am asked to enter a Unit ID. The Zigbee meters each have a MAC address for there ID.
PME will not allow me to enter the MAC address for the unit ID. How do I add the meter?

Simply a guess. In a Com'X there is a sometimes a table that shows attached meters. These have a local and network ID. The local ID is likely associated with the MAC address and the network ID is likely the one that PME would use. If this is correct it would be the same as using a redirect table in an EGX or Link 150 when these are used in a slave serial mode to allow a serial connecting to remote Ethernet enabled devices.

This is an LEM product. They offer a Mesh node line that is specified to take Zigbee to Modbus. Have not tried it but may be another method to follow.

Hi LaDon,
You should use the Modbus address assigned to the EM4300. You can find this on the Device Settings page by clicking on the EM4300.
Best Regards,
Colton
