Hello Team,
A customer recently identified a strange thing in the PM810 driver from his Panel Server.
The values from the webpages don't really fit with the values read from a modbus tool. (see pictures attached).
What can we do here?
Can we modify the driver ourselves or can we provide the driver to the customer so he can modify it himself? (he's skilled enough for this).
Thanks in advance for your support!
Romain

@Romain_Brunner Are you sure you are polling the same registers ?
For a MTZ I discovered that the Energy readings were the resetable ones. I checked in PDM and should be the same.
Are you sure of the format ? should be QUAD10K
Are you using 1.4.0 ? There was an issue in previous version linked to QUAD10K....

Are you sure you are polling the same registers ?
No, not sure. We do not know what registers the Panel Server is polling. Is there a way to export the driver?
Customer is using Firmware Version 1.4.0.

Is the customer able to confirm by the measurements displayed on PM which measurement is correct ?

Yes, please have a look at the attached PDF.
For Example:
- Phase currents are correct on PAS, Modbus Test Tool and on the display (around 1800Amps per phase)
- Real energy is wrong on PAS but correct in the Modbus test tool and on the display of course (around 6.9 GWh)

Hello Guillaume,
I will do it, but can you tell me what is the process to do so?
Kind regards,
Romain

Hi guys,
Sorry to interrupt your conversation, but the problem is already known and reported to development team and should have been fixed with FW version 1.4.0 what is obviously not the case. Please see also case 93520997.
Thanks
Daniel

Helllo @Daniel_Borle ,
The issue is known but it was not planned to correct it with release 001.004.000.
The bug will be corrected next year (not in 001.005.000).

Hello @Daniel_Borle ,
I understand. but the bug was created on August 2022. 001.004.000 was released the same month and it was not possible to integrate the fix.
Any bug created is following a triage process leaded by the developers. The gap mentioned in case 93520997 is integrated in the roadmap, but will not be fixed until next year.

Hi,
I setup a PM810 with both the PAS800 and the Com'X. I see that some Energy values are displaying correctly while others are not. Also, there is a discrepancy with the Active Power reading (not a MOD10 value).
Consequently, I have created a defect in the Panel Server project to further investigate this issue.
